corn dogs and blueberry waffles at jakes house! my morning jacket, judd apatow, chocolate milk, guitars, ukuleles, movie talks, picinics, ghetto tattoos, and hilarious stories. yesterday was pretty cool. it definitely cheered me up, and also i almost cried at the end of superbad. that is such a sweet ending. aw aw aw. i need costume ideas for a movie character themed party! pineapple express in one day!! Mark David Chapman was so creepy and crazy and now the catcher in the rye has a weird feeling to it. so does indiana jones but for totally different reasons. |

mendocino with mari was awesome. we ate carrots, we went to the beach, we got sunburned, we talked to the cool videostore guy and bought arizona dream, we walked around, we ate falafel, and we talked a lot. little kids with dreads are great and so are really obscure movies that have small vincent gallo parts in them. today feels shitty for some reason. no matter how much lil wayne i listen to i still feel sad. |

i went to the beach with my family yesterday. it was pretty fun, but i really wanted to see my friends. everyone that asks me about college keeps telling me "ohh you only have 2 weeks left!" and i'm like "yeah believe me i know." hah. so, zach galifianakis is 34. that sucks. i'm off to photo central to go chill in the darkroom and mix some yummy chemicals. i found a roll of film that i dont think i ever shot but i dont have a clue really, so im just going to develop it and see. tomorrow it's my goal to leave the house and see everyone! yes! tonight at 9 on KQED, Masterpiece theater, Jane Austen's Emma! whos excited?
today at the goodwill i bought a gorgeous shiny-silver-velvet leotard. mmmmmmmmmmm. bay to breakers. |

i'm writing this at my grandma's house. i woke up at 8 this morning to get ready in scilence becuase my mom isn't talking to me since i got my haircut. i listened to kfrc and ate sour yogurt. then i drove with my mom to my grandmas and the only thing she said was 'nice driving'. yay. now i'm here alone with my grandma and we just spent about an hour looking at her backyard and all the plants which are so beautiful. my aunt lee is coming today from oregon. she is 102 years old. i havent seen her since i was 4. we're going to olive garden. what the hell is it with old people and that restaurant? anyway, it should be pretty nice. my mom told me i shouldnt come because of my hair cut. she doesnt want lee thinking i'm a freak. i came anyway though. i set my alarm clock because she wouldnt wake me up this morning. i feel like watching buffalo '66 alot today. i think i will when i get home. i might go to a party later with joelle if my mom lets me. and then step brothers tomorrow with oz! i'm pretty excited. yesterday i went to joelle's to have smores and luis was there. i only saw him for 10 minutes. it was weird and it made me feel actually really sad. but i are like 5 smores and that made it a lot better. i love joelle and daniel. they should get married. mr. B is having a picinic today and i wish i could go. oh well. men's club. hahahahahahahaha. |

today i got up at 7. showered. watched 2 episodes of freaks and geeks and then i went to work with my dad at 9. we drove all over and took water samples and collected snails and algae. it was rad. i got some sunshine finally. i ate a beautiful burrito and had peets coffee. i sat around and smoked the rest of my nat shermans. i went to mari's house and then we visited jake at peets! freddooooooooo. then mari and i called alaura and i picked her up and we drove the dawns house. no one was home. we took advantage of that fully. we talked about parents and life and drama. i decided i wanted to get a mowhawk. i put my hair in little pony tails down the middle and mari cut off all the rest. now its done. it feels funny and very light. i just decided i dont care how i look anymore. well okay, thats a lie. but i care a lot less. i just feel like i cant like anybody anymore. i do want a boyfriend but it just seems way too impossible. i dont like to think about it becuase it depresses me.

download fest was tight. yeasayer, cut copy, brand new, jesus and mary chain. it was worth the 26 dollars just to see jesse lacey. jake saw davey havok but mari and i didnt think it was him. we bet 5 dollars that it wasnt him and then jake just went up and was like "man i love you band" and davey havok was really nice and looked so normal without all the black makeup and shit. so i'm out 5 bucks. the other guitar player in brand new looks exactly like adam. it was so weird. gang of four were so ridiculously bad. they tried to use a microwave and a baseball bat as some sort of percussion but it was just annoying. i ran into matt and he sat with mari and i during the jesus and mary chain set and we just talked about random people in the audience and silly things. it was nice to see him. on the way home we went to taco bell and i remembered why i love it so much. and now this morning i am home alone listening to brand new really loud and just wondering why the hell is it so foggy.
